Kevin was born and raised in Michigan, USA. By age 18, he was travelling back and forth to Malta until he decided to permanently reside in Malta at the age of 23.
From a young age, Kevin always had an eye for business opportunities. At age 12 he set a target for himself, and started delivering newspapers in his neighbourhood. He had, in fact, managed to reach his target by his 16th birthday, and had a brand new car waiting for him in his driveway.
On his arrival to Malta, he was immediately keen on working. He was soon introduced to the Real Estate business by a friend, and quickly found himself drawn to it.
In 1995, he joined a local real estate agency that specialised in Letting. The company began to grow but, always seeking to expand, Kevin left in 1999 to open his own real estate agency – JK Properties Ltd – with the help of his father and brother. The company grew quickly, operating under the JK name for four years before they embarked on buying the RE/MAX franchise. They beat the competition and opened RE/MAX in April 2004. The team, led by Kevin, has seen year on year growth and today has twenty one offices located throughout Malta and Gozo. After establishing the RE/MAX brand in Malta, Kevin branched out and made a name for himself in the luxury property market.
Aside from embarking on a career in the real estate market, Kevin is constantly on the look-out for other business opportunities. Apart from dealing in real estate sales, Kevin also rents a small number of luxurious properties. In order to guarantee a professional letting service to his clients, he partnered up to create Max Home Services – a company that specialises in managing Maltese properties. His keen eye for investment opportunities ensure he is continuously building good relationships with all who work with him.
His no-nonsense character ensures the job is always done in the most efficient and professional manner, yet he remains energetic about every task that comes his way – such that his energy is clearly evident among his teammates.
He is constantly working to reach his goals, most of which are related to real estate industry. He takes pride in seeing RE/MAX and the Maltese real estate industry grow year after year and continually encourages his agents to succeed in their career. He is well-known amongst RE/MAX for adopting an open-door policy.
